VISION’s proximity radar system, based on 77GHz radar technology, is specifically designed to detect vulnerable road users (VRUs), vehicles, and objects in front of commercial vehicles, effectively reducing the risk of accidents.
The system also complies with UN Regulation No. 159 (UN R159), which is applicable to vehicles in categories M2, M3, N2, and N3. It detects and alerts the driver to the presence of pedestrians and cyclists in the close-range blind spot in front of the vehicle and, if necessary, provides warnings to prevent potential collisions.
The system operates effectively even in harsh conditions and low-visibility environments, including snow, rainy, darkness, heavy dust, smoke, and fog.
